How to Establish an Advertising Marketing Plan

Many business owners are searching the internet to find information that deals with an advertising marketing plan. In reality, advertising and marketing are two different animals, although closely related. Marketing refers to the whole product service mix which includes those famous four “P”s: Price, Place, Product and Promotion. Advertising is just a part of the mix and of course, it fits within the Promotion aspect of marketing.

Within the marketing scheme, you need to establish a price-point for your product or service. You also need to set up a channel through which you will offer your product/service (this is the Place part of the mix). The product or service itself is a vital part of the mix. . .and then we get to Promotion which includes advertising.

In today’s internet economy, you can actually do certain forms of advertising which are free. Some of these advertising options include online classified advertising like CraigsList or US FreeAds. Perhaps one of the most effective free “soft advertising” methods makes use of the many social media sites that are now available. The key word in this type of promotion is “social”. In order to be effective, you need to stick to the social etiquette that is required. No spamming or hypey activity is allowed. [Read the rest of this entry...]

How to Measure Internet Advertising Effectiveness

One common question that many business owners share deals with how to evaluate their internet advertising effectiveness. Up until fairly recently, it wasn’t too easy to track how well your online ads were doing, not to mention anything about trying to figure out offline advertising results. However, the online techniques have really changed. It’s getting easier and easier to track the progress of your internet marketing advertising and most sites will at least give you the chance to see how many impressions your ad has received and how many people have actually clicked on it.

If you are using Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising, the search engines will provide you with relatively sophisticated tracking systems, making it very easy to see which ads are being clicked on and which ones aren’t. More importantly, it shows you which ads are actually converting. Traffic without conversions won’t do you much good.

If you are doing online marketing advertising elsewhere, you can implement your own tracking methods by assigning different values to each of the sites in which your ads are appearing. This way, when and if a customer clicks on your ad, they won’t only be directed to your site but you can then see how they got to your site in the first place. This data can be seen in your web site’s log files, if you are creating redirects, through reports generated by a link program or within your autoresponders, depending on your methods. Building Affiliate Websites The Easy Way

There are some myths in affiliate marketing, which attract a lot of people to it believing they are true. First is they think managing an online business is easy and second, they think that one can make a fortune through online marketing in an instant. Probably not even 10% of those who are into affiliate marketing became rich overnight. There may be some who fortunately achieved overwhelming success in just a short span of time after setting up an affiliate program, but not a majority of them can confidently say they only had luck. Anyone who is successful in this kind of business would say he worked hard to get to where he is right now. Success in affiliate marketing takes time and hard work, but it’s worth it.

If you are planning to start an affiliate program, one of the things you have to consider is having your own website, not just an ordinary website but a professional looking one. How do you build an affiliate marketing website? What are the easy steps to build one? First, you must have already decided on the theme or niche of your website. It would be better if you already have an idea what products or services to promote as this would help you plan the design and lay-out of your web pages. The next thing to do is to choose a domain name and get it hosted. The domain name is a unique name used to label the actual address of your website on the Internet. In deciding what domain name to register, look into the type of products you are endorsing and the theme of your site. Having the right keywords in your domain name would give you better chances of drawing more visitors to your website. Also, choose a top level domain or extension, such as .com because it is more popular. In selecting your web host, consider the security of servers and up time guarantees. We are for ever being told that getting high quality, “do follow,” and genuine one way backlinks is one of the keys to search engine optimization (SEO).

Of course there are now hundreds, perhaps thousands of sites and services offering ways to gain backlinks, some will even charge, but will they do you any good?

Once upon a time the answer might have been yes, but right now Google and other search engines are far too sophisticated to be fooled by anything less than genuine one way links.
So beware of how you gain your backlinks.

The challenge, of course, is where to find places to get powerful genuine backlinks which will be counted by the Google?

Most people conduct their link building strategies around blog and forum postings. This makes sense and is certainly part of many a site owners SEO jobs. However, inline with what I have stated above it stands to reason that Google also knows that most marketers who are using SEO tactics to rank their sites are doing this, so it makes sense they will be looking for a much more diverse backlink pattern to award the highest rankings to.

So taking all of this on board, and with the need to avoid forum and blog posts where possible here are the top 5 non-forum/blog backlink sources. [Read the rest of this entry...]

If you are thinking about getting involved with affiliate marketing you are probably wondering what affiliate marketing costs you can expect to incur. The good news is that you can start your very own affiliate marketing business for free or very little cost.

Affiliate Marketing The Easy Way

Affiliate marketing illustration by User:xDani...

While it really is easy to make a very good living online with affiliate marketing you have to realize that you will need to learn some new skills and be patient enough to implement what you’ve learned. If you’re not willing to do this than you may as well save yourself some time and forget about making money online. If, on the other hand, you’re willing to work but you want to know how to work smarter, not harder, I have some information on affiliate marketing the easy way, just read on.

One of the most amazing things about making money online is all the automation you have available to help you. Once you get your website set up and are generating a lot of highly qualified traffic, your business can run virtually on autopilot. Of course, it will take a lot of time and work to get it to that point, but once that’s done you can continue to earn money from that site for years to come all with very little additional effort.

Once you’ve got one website set up and generating a nice steady income, you can set up another. Do this until you are making as much money as you want. If you do your homework and choose the right product to promote and take the time to set up your site and get a nice steady flow of traffic you can be making around $1,000 a month, per site. Some will make more and some will make less, but that is a nice average. Just think what would happen if over the course of the next year you set up 10 of these sites and they were all making an average of $1,000 a month, every single month.

That is what many people are doing online today. It’s totally doable. It’s not a pipe dream. Of course before you can do that you have to learn how to pick the right product to sell, how to get traffic to your website, and how to convert that traffic into paying customers. But once you have that knowledge you can apply it over and over again as often as you want. Learn the knowledge once and make money off of it for the rest of your life. Quality LeadsMlm Leads – Generating High Quality LeadsMlm

For people in any types of sales, clearly one of the most challenging aspects of their business is getting new prospects in the door. And as far as MLM Leads – generating quality leads becomes even harder. In general, there is a sort of stigma associated with being a salesperson (think of the used-car salesman stereotype). Most folks have become jaded to anyone they perceive as trying to ’sell’ them something, particularly if it is considered a so-called hard sell, i. E. A persistent salesperson.

Our society’s attention is being pulled in countless directions and it’s often difficult for people to decide on what to pay attention to – so many of the information that we get bombarded with simply gets ignored. It’s easier to just shut down than try to figure out what offers are reliable and what we should avoid.

So how does an honest salesperson get the attention of prospects and legitimately build a solid business in the world of network marketing when everyone is so jaded? Well, for most salespeople, rather than think that question through, they simply start spamming everyone they know in the hopes that someone will eventually bite.

This is not a very effective approach and in the best case scenario, it is a serious waste of time. In the worst case scenario, you get branded a spammer and your reputation suffers. Why take that chance? [Read the rest of this entry...]
