Diversify and Make Cash Online

Posted on March 19, 2008

Never put all of your eggs in one basket. It’s true in the offline world as it is in the online world. Here’s a simple outline on what I’m doing to diversify my online and offline businesses, minus the proprietary information. I hope this will be helpful.

Build mini niche sites with Squidoo or Hubpages to test markets. If you don’t know what either of these are; I would highly recommend reading the 30 Day Challenge action list, it’s packed full of information for the beginner to the advanced marketer.

Once the market has been determined to be viable; good conversion of clicks to sales, proceed by building more related niche sites on Squidoo or Hubpages, than purchase your own domain name for the related market and design a web site or blog. Link all of the sites from Squidoo or Hubpages to your new Domain; this will drive traffic to your new site. You can outsource all of this if you’re overwhelmed by creating and building a site.

Traffic: you need lots of it, build links from other related sites to yours using Link Building and Web2.0 strategies. Also, you can use pay per click, but I’m trying to do this as cost efficient as possible.

eBay: Is one of the quickest and easiest ways to start making money online. Read my article eBay it baby! to find out how. You could use a program called BANS (Build A Niche Store) it’s a website builder which enables you to create a network of traffic pulling, money making niche websites focused around the eBay affiliate opportunity.

Stocks, Bonds, Forex, and Mutual Funds: Believe it or not even though the markets have been very tough lately I have been doing very well because of a newsletter called doubling stocks. I also invest in Forex, mutual funds, 401K, 529’s, and IRA’s. If you need to educate yourself on the markets I would recommend reading this publication.

Elance.com: If you can write, program, design, post projects you can find enough freelance work to keep you busy all day long.

Home Business: Technology consultant; I do everything from PC repair to installing Xboxes. Find something that you are passionate about or good at.

Get out of debt: This should be number one on everyone’s list.

Real estate: Purchase and flip houses. I haven’t done this yet, but would like to eventually.

Give back: This is often times overlooked, but is very true the more you give the more you get back. I’m not just talking monetary; give of your time to help someone achieve their dreams or goals. Here’s a couple of organizations that I would recommend that you give to, Kiva and Samaritans Purse.

Take Action: Get out there and do it! Start small and move forward.

I hope this list is helpful to someone. It has been very helpful for me to write it out and have goals and a mission to work towards, and it has surprised me how well I have done since making this list back in December 2007.
